Let me declare one more time that I have always been fortunate, then we have been fortunate as a couple,
too, on the day spared for that beautiful park we had the opportunity to come upon the opening of the
tourism days in Bangkok. A uniquely delightful event which you will remember for a long time. The Thai
had prepared many different zones where there were many games and dances and an incredible variety
of local specialties from all corners and towns in Thailand. We saw tens of differently dressed couples in
colourful costumes depending on the region and traditions where they lived and a variety of dances, as
well. Smiles never left the faces of everyone involved with the event. The mood of both locals and tourists
was more than uplifted. All in all, we devoted almost a whole day to the event, in which we also witnessed
theatrical scenes and concerts by young and old. All in all, they had made sure that the event would leave
wonderful memories in everyone who was lucky enough to be in that place in those days. The good thing
is that we didn't have to think about food either. I even think we went overboard in our desire to try all
the possible dishes, even to get extra takeaway. Mind you, we're used to calling every single place we stay
overnight home. And in Thailand, I'm really in my second home.
