31. The climax of our whole trip, started at the "Chatucak Weekend Market" and the awesome park next

to the market itself. Here's something I hadn't visited yet on my first visit to Bangkok. A local Thai friend I'd met online advised us to pay attention to this market as well. It turned out that the Chatucak Weekend Market is the largest and most diverse in the world with over 200,000 visitors per weekend. The market has over 15,000 stalls divided into 27 sections. In the market you can find not only everything, but certainly many things you never thought of and hardly ever looked for. Truly something impressive and we didn't regret listening to it at all. After this brand presentation, let's revisit our experience there. Naturally, we boarded our main transportation for our stay in Bangkok, the air train. Even before we got off it, looking overhead revealed something as vast as space, a multitude of bustling people with overstuffed bags. Well, we were already there and blended in with the crowd, and our interest in exactly what was for sale was huge. We sketched out a quick plan for the entire walk ahead of us so as not to miss anything and the looking around began. After taking in a section of the market in one breath, we had identified a few places that sold food teasers and our thoughts were mainly on them. The first thing we bought was prepared like this - a local vendor sliced open a coconut with a cutter and first served us his delicious milk in the crust, and then filled it with a great tasting ice cream. Such an interesting procedure that we wondered should we take a picture first or taste first? Somehow we worked it out, one of us taking pictures, the other holding the crusts, then we briefly disconnected from thoughts of the market and sweetly consumed the result of what we saw. Minutes later we continued our walk around the myriad stalls, each one inviting us to buy something as a souvenir. I won't go into detail about what they were selling there because I won't have time to list it all, assume they had everything. Yes, you would probably ask if we bought anything to take back to Bulgaria? The answer is yes. Or at least that's how we approached it at the beginning, and you'll find out what happened later in the story.
